According to customs data, the export volume of PET bottles in 2019 1-9 months was 2 million 338 thousand and 800 tons, an increase of 15.09% over the same period last year. It is estimated that the total export volume will exceed 2 million 900 thousand tons in the whole year, up by 12% over the same period last year. With the increasingly fierce international trade relations, the stability of bottle export has been challenged. The weakness of foreign trade orders in polyester bottle production enterprises is a drag on demand growth, and continuous high tariff barriers affect investment enthusiasm of enterprises. From the export orders of the mainstream bottle makers and traders in October, the export volume of the fourth quarter will decline to a certain extent. The instability of international trade relations has led more and more enterprises to consider going out to build factories. The highest monthly export volume in 2019 is March, and the export volume is 351 thousand and 600 tons. The lowest export month is September, and the monthly export volume is 200 thousand and 600 tons.

According to customs statistics, in 2019 1-9, Jiangsu is still the largest export area of PET bottles in China, accounting for around 45%, and the rest of the main export and delivery addresses include Zhejiang, Hainan, Guangdong and Shanghai. Among them, Zhejiang rose faster than last year's second Hainan provinces, ranking second in 2019, and continues to maintain rapid growth.

According to statistics, the export of PET bottles in China now covers about more than 100 countries and regions. In the first three quarters of 2019, India accounted for the first place in the export producing countries and regions of PET bottles, with a total export volume of 227 thousand and 800 tons, accounting for 9.74%; the second place was Philippines, with a total export volume of 123 thousand and 100 tons, accounting for 5.26%; third of them were Russia, and the total export volume was about 108 thousand and 700 tons, accounting for about 4.65%.
