Multiple Adverse Factors Interwoven With &Nbsp; Guangdong Garment Industry Has Accelerated Pformation.

During the 2011 China Liuhua International Fashion Festival and Guangdong Fashion Week held here, more than one garment industry in Guangdong said that Guangdong's garment enterprises are facing new challenges in the face of multiple adverse factors such as the recent rise in raw material prices, rising labor costs and the continued fluctuation of the RMB exchange rate. In the first 6 months of this year, garment enterprises in the above scale of Guangdong province had completed 2 billion 912 million garment production, accounting for 24.83% of the national total, and continued to occupy the first place in the country's largest clothing production province, but the growth rate slowed down significantly, and the growth rate dropped 8.36 percentage points.

Liu Yueping, President of Guangdong clothing and Apparel Industry Association (micro-blog), told reporters in an interview with China News Agency, facing the test of survival, the most important thing for Guangdong's clothing enterprises is to follow the law of industrial development, "improve the quality of products, cultivate more clothing brands, and intensify the efforts to expand the domestic market".

He said that Guangdong fashion week, which has been held for ten years, will continue to build a platform to expand brand influence for garment enterprises, especially small and medium-sized garment enterprises.

A few years ago, Guangdong launched the policy of "changing cage and changing birds" and implemented the outline of the Pearl River Delta reform and development plan.

Liu Yueping pointed out that the government encouraged the clothing industry to carry out "double pfer" and issued a set of preferential policies.

In the early years, some garment enterprises in the Pearl River Delta were "aware and inadequate", but now they are "fully aware". Many enterprises are looking for opportunities to pfer and upgrade industries in the pfer.
