Zambia's Central Province Will Revive The Textile Industry

BernardChomba, the Zambia Provincial Central Committee, said that the restart of the Sino Mongolian joint venture Mu Long Gu Xi textile mill and the construction of textile factories by Japanese Marubeni merchants will revive the textile industry of the central province.

The Zambia government expects the two textile mills to put into production and operation as soon as possible.




Recently, SydneyMushanga, governor of central province, said that the two governments were discussing ways to restart the Zambia joint venture mill.

At the same time, Zambia Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) provides land for the Japanese Marubeni business in the CB area, for the latter to build a new textile mill.




Chomba welcomes the investment of maruon trading company and expects to compete with Mu Long Gu Xi textile mill to jointly promote cotton cultivation and improve farmers' life in the province.
