Vietnam?

So far this year, Vietnam's shoe export revenue has reached $1 billion 740 million, up 12.9% compared to the same period last year, according to the statistics of the Ministry of trade and industry of Vietnam.

In May alone, the export revenue of Vietnam's shoe department reached $380 million, up 2.4% from the same period last year.

In the first 5 months of this year, Vietnam's exports of handbags, suitcases, hats and umbrellas reached US $325 million, up 30.5% from the same period last year.

However, Vietnam's Ministry of trade and industry warned that, despite such achievements, the shoe department still faced difficulties because of anti-dumping duties and price barriers.

The Ministry of trade and industry requires the footwear sector to take measures to improve export patterns, diversify products, expand markets and support long-term development.
