There Is Great Potential For Fur Trade Between Hongkong And Russia.

The Hongkong commodity exhibition, known as the "Hongkong style", opened on the 26 day in the exhibition hall of the city of Moscow in central Moscow. Ma Shiheng, director general of the Hongkong Trade Development Council, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

He said he was the first to come to Moscow and was deeply shocked by Moscow's charm and development level.

After visiting the famous central department store in Moscow, he was confident of the Russian people's spending power.

It is believed that the high quality and fashion of Hongkong products can satisfy Russian consumers.

According to Ma Shiheng, trade between Russia and Hongkong has been developing rapidly. The volume of bilateral trade increased by 23% in the first half of this year, reaching nearly $550 million.

Mr Ma said that trade development between Hongkong and Russia has great potential. The traditional customers in Hongkong were concentrated in the Americas and Europe. But now many Hong Kong businessmen have turned their energies to the Russian market.

It is hoped that fur and clothing in Hongkong can penetrate into the Russian market.

The delegation of Hongkong was led by the Trade Development Council of the Hongkong Special Administrative Region and composed of more than 200 Hongkong companies.

The "Hongkong style" exhibition will end in St Petersburg on the 29 th.
