The chamber of Commerce recently conducted an international cooperation survey of 16 Wenzhou senior men's clothing brand enterprises such as Xia Meng, good bird, French school, Zhuang Ji and Jordan. The survey results show that in 2009, the total output value of these 16 high-end men's clothing enterprises was 9 billion 170 million yuan, 9 million 758 thousand pieces (sets) of senior men's clothing were produced annually, the factory building's specifications were 738 thousand square meters, the total number of employees was 19068, and the designers were 495; the average price of the main products of 16 enterprises was 3807 yuan, and the highest price was up to 12000 yuan.

At the same time, the top men's clothing brands both at home and abroad favor Wenzhou menswear manufacturing industry. This is also one of the bottom points of Wenzhou's declaration of building men's wear base.

It is reported that Armani, Zegna, Versace, Gucci, special Jiao, Diano and so on hundreds of international high-end brands, and Wenzhou menswear manufacturing enterprises have different levels of cooperation; many domestic high-end men's clothing also maintain long-term cooperation with Wenzhou, such as nine Mu Wang, Li Lang, seven wolves, Tai Zilong, Qipai and so on.

"A number of international high-end men's wear brands represented by Italy have been highly influential in fashion and cultural drive after hundreds of years of development, but their manufacturing capabilities are lagging behind. Wenzhou's garment manufacturing enterprises are experiencing rapid development with technological improvement, advanced equipment application and quality management improvement. The two sides have strong complementarity.

This will be the best opportunity for upgrading Wenzhou's garment industry. "

Take clothing production equipment as an example, in recent years, many men's clothing enterprises in Wenzhou have invested a lot of money to introduce advanced international equipment such as Germany's DUP, American floats, Japanese heavy machinery, and so on.

To seize this historical opportunity, giving priority to the development of high-end men's clothing and creating a global high-end menswear manufacturing base on the existing industry foundation of Wenzhou men's wear will be the only way to upgrade Wenzhou's garment industry.

Zheng Chenai said that in the historical node of the development and upgrading of the industry, many men's clothing enterprises in Wenzhou have actively promoted the pformation from low-end manufacturing to high-end manufacturing, OEM to ODM (that is, from design to production by the producers themselves, and after the products are molded, bought by the OEM), upgrading the added value of the manufacturing industry, and further improving the high-end manufacturing industry of Wenzhou men's clothing.

The forum is more clear, giving priority to the development of high-end men's clothing will include speeding up cooperation with the world's top brands (including clothing brand, fabric brand, other accessories, accessories brand), so the cooperation with the Australian wool bureau is also based on a large number of high end men's clothing manufacturing enterprises that need to make the worsted fabrics. Promotion of advanced customization and sublimation of "high-end manufacturing" gold content will promote Wenzhou's high-end menswear manufacturers to develop high-end garment customization business.

The forum has brought together more than 100 outstanding representatives from the UK, Italy, Australia and Wenzhou. The city clothing association also put forward a plan to build "global high-end men's wear Leaders Club" in one year, integrating the brand of high-end men's clothing in the world, making all kinds of elite figures in the whole industry chain, and serving the cooperation and development of high-end men's clothing all over the world.
