The Unemployed Will Receive Subsidies For Vocational Training.

The notice of the State Council on the promotion of employment has recently been released by the Chinese government website. It clearly stipulates that vocational training should be provided to the unemployed and eligible rural labourers to participate in vocational training.

"Establishing and improving vocational skills training system for all workers is an important measure to promote employment by the notice."

The head of the training and employment division of the Ministry of labor and social security indicated that the workers should be encouraged to take part in various forms of training.

The notice encourages all vocational colleges, vocational skills training institutions and employers to carry out pre employment training, on-the-job training, re employment training and entrepreneurial training according to law, and to obtain vocational qualification certificates for workers with difficult employment and migrant workers in urban areas through the identification of the first professional skills (special types of work for the implementation of the employment access system by the state limited), and give a one-time occupational skill appraisal subsidy.

The notice requires that vocational training subsidies be perfected, and the linkage mechanism between vocational training subsidies and training quality and employment effect can be established and improved, so as to enhance the enthusiasm of laborers to participate in training and various vocational education and training institutions to provide training.

According to the notice, the state will improve the labor preparation system, and prepare preparatory training for junior high school graduates with employment requirements and training aspirations for more than 3 months or less than 12 months, so that they can obtain corresponding vocational qualifications or master certain vocational skills.
