India Oil Workers Strike Leading To Paralysis Of Chemical Fiber Textile Industry

Informed sources said that oil and gas company officials stopped the supply of natural gas from the largest oil in the country and were forced to close the Hazira-Bijapur-Jagdishpur (HVJ) pipeline. GAIL was forced to stop supplying the Gujarat Bang gas company through the HBJ pipeline, resulting in the interruption of natural gas supply in the textile factories.
Textile processing plants say the supply of natural gas from Gujarat state gas company has stopped since Wednesday and has not yet been restored. The industry needs 3 million cubic meters of natural gas per day.
