Zhongshan Silk Brocade Will Spend More Than 1 Billion Yuan On Its Investment.

Yesterday afternoon, Chen Genkai, Secretary of the municipal Party committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, met with the chairman of the China Silk Import and Export Corporation, Zhang Weiming, Li Qihong, respectively.

It is understood that the China Silk Import and Export Corporation and Guangdong Silk Textile Group will increase investment in Zhongshan silk group and Zhongshan polyester mill in the next few years, and the total investment will be more than 1 billion yuan by 2010.

According to the briefing, the China Silk Import and Export Corporation and the Guangdong silk textile group are the top 500 Chinese enterprises. At present, the two companies investing in Zhongshan include Zhongshan silk group, Zhongshan polyester silk factory, Zhongshan Gundam limited and Zhongshan Lai Bao garment industry.

Zhongshan silk group is one of the largest import and export companies in our city. It achieved sales of 3 billion 700 million yuan in 2007, and bought Building Maoming, Yangjiang commercial city and Zhongshan yuexai Road commercial city.

"On the regional layout, we will support the Zhongshan silk group to become bigger and stronger. In line with the adjustment of Zhongshan's industrial structure, we will develop Zhongshan's commercial city, and on this basis, we will build a business platform for western Guangdong by using Building Maoming and Yangjiang trading city, and gradually extend to the mountainous areas of northern Guangdong."

Cai Gaosheng, chairman of Guangdong silk textile group company, said, "the total investment of these projects based on Zhongshan silk group is more than 1 billion yuan."

It is understood that the Zhongshan polyester silk factory will implement the strategy of sustainable development. On the one hand, it will invest 200 million yuan to pform the existing polyester filament production line, introduce advanced technology and expand the scale of production. On the other hand, it will cooperate with Sinop Guangdong Co., Ltd. to expand the Zhongshan foreign trade terminal and participate in port logistics business. The total investment of the project will reach 500 million yuan.

"At present, we are still negotiating a high-tech light perception project and striving to enrich it in Zhongshan polyester silk factory."

Cai Gaosheng said.

During the meeting, Chen Genkai and Li Qihong said that Zhongshan very much welcomed the increase in investment in Zhongshan by the China Silk Import and Export Corporation and the Guangdong silk textile group, and would give full support to the implementation of specific projects.
