Following the Sichuan provincial Party committee and the provincial government's "opinions on accelerating the undertaking of industrial pfer", the plan of undertaking industrial pfer in Sichuan (2008~2012) was also introduced recently. The plan clearly puts forward that during the period 2008~2012, Sichuan will undertake the pfer of international and domestic industries around the industrial structure of "six belts, one chain, four clusters" and modern service industries, and strive to introduce 17000 billion yuan in foreign capital and 22 billion US dollars in foreign investment funds.
Five of the 6 major industries are related to Chengdu.
The plan puts forward that we should carry out industrial pfer around the "six major industrial belts", of which five are related to Chengdu.
Cheng De Mian South capital auto industrial belt: the leading enterprises and production lines of cars, advanced buses, light off-road vehicles, trucks and special vehicles, as well as specialized manufacturers and R & D production platforms of high technology, large-scale parts and components, are mainly introduced.
