Vietnam'S Textile Exports Will Reach US $18 Billion By 2015.

According to the recent report of Xigong Liberation Daily, the Vietnamese Prime Minister recently promulgated decision No. thirty-sixth of 2008 to approve the planning of Vietnam's textile industry to develop in 2015 and 2020.

According to the above plan, Vietnam textile industry will develop in accordance with specialization and modernization, and achieve a leap in product quality and quantity.

In the past 2008-2010 years, the annual output increased by 16-18% and exports increased by 20%.

By 2015, the total industry turnover will reach US $22 billion 500 million, and export will reach US $18 billion. The number of labour employment will reach 2 million 750 thousand, and the proportion of localization will reach 60%.
