More than 160 textile companies in Thailand have been suffering from floods in the past few weeks.
TGMA Secretary General Yuttana Silpsarnvitch said that about 22 textile enterprises and 142 garment enterprises were hit by floods.
Due to the disruption of the supply chain, some manufacturers failed to continue their production. Affected by floods, Thailand's clothing production decreased by 25%.

Yuttana said that the government of Thailand is making every effort to bring flood waters into the sea, so that its streets will become dry as soon as possible, and will soon announce measures to provide assistance to the garment industry.
Yuttana said, "we are helping to locate areas that are not affected by floods, as temporary production and purchasing raw materials base."
TGMA is also working with sewing machine manufacturers to help member factories repair damaged machines.
Thailand media pointed out that due to the shortage of raw materials, the production and delivery time of the garment industry in Thailand is expected to be delayed for 1 months.
The area affected by floods in Thailand is particularly serious, including Phetchakasem and Bang.
Kae, Aom Yai and Aom Noi are the cluster sites of weaving and bleaching and dyeing plants in the upper and middle reaches of Thailand textile industry. The reason why many manufacturers are forced to close is the soaking of the waste water treatment system.
